TO POLAND
The poem "To Poland", written by Abraham Sutzkever, descrives the returning of the writer to his birthplace after world war two, seeing how is beloved beautiful country was transformed into a wasteland, with moral and physical landscapes destroyed. The illustrations describe each part of five chapters of the poem and asks to capture the writer's emotional state by creating surrealist images connecting between nature and humans.
